Who Is AG Law?
Abrahamsen Gindin LLC (AG Law), headquartered in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area, is a multi-state creditors’ rights law firm focused on consumer collections. AG Law is licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
We collect outstanding receivables for our clients using the legal process across various financial verticals. Our state-of-the-art automated process provides efficiency while maintaining a compliance system that lowers legal and litigation risks for our clients.

Edwin A. Abrahamsen
Edwin (Ned) Abahamsen was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin & Marshall Collage in 1973 and his Juris Doctorate from Dickinson School of Law in 1976. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar shortly thereafter.
In addition to Mr. Abrahamsen’s extensive collection law expertise, he is also experienced in workers’ compensation and Social Security matters, and complex commercial litigation.
He is certified by The National Board of Trial Advocacy as a Civil Trial Advocate and is also a certified member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum – recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. In addition, he is a member of many professional associations, including the National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, and bot the Pennsylvania and Federal Bar Associations.
Mr. Abrahamsen also performs pro bono work for multiple worthy local causes.

Joshua Gindin
Joshua Gindin is one of AG Law’s founding members. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude with honors, from Brandeis University in 1979, and his Juris Doctorate in 1983 from Temple University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey.
He has been an executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for NCO Group and NCO Financial Services Inc., where for 14 years he supervised all domestic and international legal affairs for the collection industry’s largest company. He is experienced in customer relationship management for all market segments – financial services, healthcare, retail, commercial, education, telecommunications, utilities, and government.
Mr. Gindin’s expertise includes all areas of debt collection, including collection and litigation strategy, state and federal regulatory compliance, and regulatory and FDCPA defense. He is also proficient in local and national business licensing, general business and real estate matters, and transactional due diligence.
Mr. Gindin is a member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Philadelphia bar associations, as well as ACA International.

Tess E. Gunther
Tess Gunther has worked as an associate attorney for Forster & Garbus (recently acquired by AG Law) for more than 20 years, assisting in all phases of the litigation process.
She is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut and has represented clients in civil and supreme courts on various legal matters.
Born in Long Island, N.Y., Ms. Gunther graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., and earned her law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in North Haven, Conn.
In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and daughter. She’s also an avid baseball fan. “I have wonderful memories of watching the Yankees with my mother and father.”

Edward J. Damsky
As a Senior Associate Attorney, Edward Damsky handles all aspects of the litigation process while also supervising associate attorneys and support staff. He began his law career at a general practice firm, where his work included collection, real estate, bankruptcy and personal injury law. He then decided to focus on collections.
Mr. Damskey has been admitted to the New York Bar as well as the federal courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a long-time member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, and over the course of his career, he has appeared in city, village, state, traffic and federal courts.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he has lived on Long Island for the past 50 years. In his spare time, Mr. Damskey enjoys both playing and watching baseball. He also enjoys fishing, which he finds “both relaxing and challenging.”

Michael DiGiaro
As an attorney for AG Law, Michael DiGiaro researches legal issues, drafts, oppose motions, and briefs, and attends court hearings and trials. He began his law career at a general practice firm in Queens, N.Y., before joining Forster & Garbus, LLP (recently acquired by AG Law).
Mr. DiGiaro has been admitted into the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations, as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He earned his J.D. from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro University in Queens, N.Y.?, where he was born and raised. He currently resides in Long Island.
In his spare time, Mr. DiGiaro enjoys watching live and televised sporting events with family and friends, traveling, sightseeing various places, and “feeling the energy of a live crowd.”

Mary Sciacca
Mary Sciacca began working as a collector at Citibank while she was still attending college. In 1996, she began working for Forster & Garbus (recently acquired by AG Law), and by 2019 she had been promoted to Audit Manager. As Director of Compliance, she is responsible for completing internal and external client audits, as well as managing quality assurance.
Born in Manhasset, N.Y., Ms. Sciacca attended State University of New York (SUNY) at Farmingdale for two years before graduating from SUNY-Stony Brook. In her spare time she enjoys the beach and spending time with friends and family.

Michael Florio
As a trial and compliance attorney, Michael Florio has represented the firm in all trials for the past 14 years. He works extensively with clients to formalize trial strategy and prepare witnesses, appearing in New York courts daily. His work includes counterclaim cases and other complex commercial, hospital, and student loan collection actions.
Mr. Florio also reviews, corrects, and approves office complaints, judgments, letters, data tables and mailings to ensure strict compliance with court procedure, FDCPA regulations and the New York Consumer Fairness Act.
He previously worked for Catholic Charities, ensuring strict compliance with HUD governmental requisites and placing seniors in affordable housing locations across New York. In addition, Mr. Florio provided legal representation to financially distressed and disabled clients via Nassau County Legal Aid.
Born in Valley Stream, N.Y., he attended Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. before earning his law degree from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro University in Central Islip, N.Y.
In his spare time, Mr. Florio enjoys soccer — a sport he played for about 20 years on many school and club teams. He also enjoys swimming and gardening, and he’s traveled up and down the California coast numerous times.

Christine Snedden
Christine Snedden has been working at the firm for 15 years, ten years of which were in the Accounting Department where she helped develop automation for payment processing. Since then, she’s devoted her time to development of the firm’s entire network.
Born in Lindenhurst, N.Y., Ms. Sneddon received her B.S. In Computer Programming and Information Systems, with dual concentrations in Networking and Databases, from Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, N.Y.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, because “It’s a solo sport. You either have it or you don’t.” She also likes spending time at the beach and camping in the woods, wherever the skies are dark enough to properly stargaze.

David Aglira
David Aglira is a seasoned professional in the collections industry, currently serving as the Director of Collections for Abrahamsen Gindin LLC. With over three decades of experience, David’s journey in the industry began in 1986 as a part-time dialer collector. Throughout his career, he has excelled in various roles, including collector, supervisor, manager, director, VP, COO, and even interim CEO with other reputable agencies and firms.
David’s dedication to his work is evident as he oversees all aspects of collections and provides invaluable assistance to his team. He skillfully interacts with clients, internal departments, and vendors, ensuring a seamless and efficient collections process.
Outside of work, David’s passion for cigars is a way for him to unwind and enjoy his leisure time. Despite the demands of his profession, he manages to squeeze in a round of golf whenever possible. Additionally, he actively participates in softball leagues, both as a player and as a coach for tournament and high school teams in the Philadelphia area. As a true sports enthusiast, David wholeheartedly supports the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Flyers.
Above all, David’s biggest passion lies within his personal life. He deeply cherishes his fiancée, children, and two beloved dogs. David is not only an exceptional professional but also a compassionate and devoted individual.

Marlena Estrada
Marlena Estrada is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background and a passion for operational excellence. Before joining Abrahamsen Gindin, she gained valuable experience in the insurance and legal industry, where she developed a keen eye for detail, skills in organization, efficiency, and problem-solving.
As the Director of Operations at Abrahamsen Gindin, Marlena wears multiple hats and oversees all aspects of back-end operations. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of areas, including data processing, programming, and client services. Her exceptional ability to manage various tasks simultaneously and ensure the smooth running of the company’s operations is a testament to her dedication and expertise.
Outside of her professional achievements, Marlena takes immense pride in being a mother of three wonderful children. Her oldest son proudly serves in the United States military, embodying the values of dedication and service to our great nation. Her other two children, a daughter, and a son, are pursuing their dreams at Quinnipiac University, studying Nursing and Physical Therapy, respectively.
Marlena’s exceptional leadership skills and her commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to Abrahamsen Gindin.
Fun Fact- She can always be seen with an XL cup of Dunkin Donuts in her hand.

Evan Forster
Evan Forster is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Director of Sales and Business Development. With a career spanning over two decades, he embarked on his journey in the debt collection industry back in 2002. Throughout the years, Evan has honed his skills, gained invaluable experience, and established himself as a trusted leader in his field. Evan excels at building and nurturing client relationships. He understands the importance of establishing trust and providing excellent customer service, ensuring that clients receive personalized attention and feel supported throughout their interactions with the firm.
In 2021, Evan made the exciting decision to relocate and now resides in the tranquil suburbs of Tampa. Embracing the flexibility of remote work, he continues to excel in his role while enjoying the comfort of his new surroundings.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Evan’s true joy lies in spending quality time with his loving family. As a proud father of three wonderful children, he cherishes every moment creating lasting memories with them. To add to the family dynamic, Evan also shares his home with two adorable dogs who bring boundless happiness and laughter to their lives.
Recognizing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Evan prioritizes his fitness regimen. He finds solace in regular visits to the gym and has also embraced the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, an activity that not only keeps him physically fit but also sharpens his mental acuity.
